"Sulayr" (mountain of the sun), the word used by the Arabs with reference to the Sierra Nevada mountain range, is now the symbolic name given to a great long distance footpath. The Sulayr is the longest circular footpath in Andalusia and in Spain, covering more than 300 kilometres. Along the way, we will discover surprising Cordillera Penibetica landscapes, getting to know first-hand its natural surroundings as well as its mountain villages characterised not only by their history and traditions, but also by their ingenious aesthetic value.
