From the ninety walks featured in his original three-book series of ?Walks in the Yorkshire Dales’ (published 1989-91 and now out of print), Jack Keighley has selected, revised and updated his fifty favourites.

All the walks are circular, and range from 4½ to 7¾ miles. They have been chosen to appeal to all tastes, and vary from simple valley strolls (ideal as half-day ?family rambles’) to strenuous fell expeditions.
